What direction does the data flow in my PROFIBUS Slave module's Input / Output registers?

Search KB

The data movement in the PROFIBUS Slave module (PDPS) is as follows: Input registers (0 - 99) move from the PROFIBUS Slave module to the PROFIBUS Master. Output registers (100 - 199) move from the PROFIBUS Master to the PROFIBUS Slave module. With the PROFIBUS protocol, input and output nomenclature is always from the stand-point of the master.
