Difficulties connecting PROFINET to EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP/IP?

EtherNet/IP™, Modbus®, and PROFINET have become increasingly prevalent across the automation industry – and so has the need to connect them.

With its newest gateway solutions, ProSoft Technology is allowing companies to use their EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP/IP-based PLCs/PACs to control their PROFINET devices.

The EtherNet/IP-PROFINET and Modbus TCP/IP-PROFINET gateways allow users to remotely view and diagnose their networks, saving time. Both gateways feature two Ethernet ports, allowing users to isolate their networks and ensure that they only pass the data they want between their devices.

In addition, the EtherNet/IP gateway enables high-speed control of large systems via multiple I/O connections.
