AN-X3-PB gateway

PROFIBUS DP Multi-Slave Ethernet HMI or UDP Gateway Non-CE

AN-X3-PB

The AN-X3-PB acts as a gateway between a PROFIBUS DP network and an Ethernet network. The gateway allows the mapping of PROFIBUS DP I/O data to an EtherNet/IP™ controller or Modbus® TCP Client. The AN-X3-PB can connect a PC or other device to a PROFIBUS network. The gateway has a web interface for configuring the PROFIBUS and Ethernet properties.

  •        View diagnostics with a web browser for remote monitoring and troubleshooting

Aplicaciones

HMI

The AN-X3-PB gateway running the HMI firmware acts like a gateway between a PROFIBUS DP network and an Ethernet network supporting EtherNet/IP scheduled connections, PLC5 file emulation, and Modbus TCP.

  • Scheduled Connection size 250/248 (input/output)
  • PROFIBUS DP I/O can be mapped to the scheduled connections
  • PLC5 File emulation allows users to map PROFIBUS DP I/O data to N or F type files
  • Map PROFIBUS DP I/O data to Modbus registers using Modbus TCP Server functionality

UDP

The AN-X3-PB acts as a gateway between a PROFIBUS DP network and an Ethernet network using cyclic UDP messages.

  • Supports up to 16 UDP send blocks and up to 16 UDP receive blocks
  • Each block supports a standard frame size (MTU) of up to 1500 bytes
  • With Ethernet, IP, UDP and QTS overhead, there are 1448 bytes or 362 DWORDS (32 bits) available to map PROFIBUS diagnostics and data
  • Both Unicast and Multicast frames are supported

Especificaciones

EtherNet/IP Support

Scheduled Connections

  • Data Types: INT, DINT, Real
  • Connection size 250/248 (input/output)
  • Configurable RPI time for each connection (1 to 750ms)
  • PROFIBUS DP I/O data can be mapped to the scheduled connections
  • EtherNet/IP Class 1
  • Number of connections: 16

Unscheduled PLC-5 Emulation

  • Allows users to access PROFIBUS DP data on an Ethernet network
  • PROFIBUS DP I/O data can be mapped to N and F type PLC-5 files

Modbus® TCP Support

  • Modbus TCP Server allows users to map PROFIBUS DP I/O data to Modbus registers

PROFIBUS DP Support

  • Acts as one or more active PROFIBUS DP slave nodes, up to 125 total
  • Monitors the I/O data from all other PROFIBUS DP slave nodes on the PROFIBUS network
  • Maintains PROFIBUS DP slave node list
  • Maintains PROFIBUS diagnostic counters
  • Supports baud rates of 9600bps to 12Mbps
